Conference Manager
The conferencing team provide high calibre conferences, as many of our past clients will attest. In my new role as Conference Manager I look forward to continuing this work.
For the last five years I have been the project manager of several successful education projects and in the last two years I have led several successful projects within CCE.
I am currently enrolled in a 3 year Master of Management programme at The University of Auckland Business School. This informs my current role, enabling me to keep up to date with current and innovative ways to further improve the service offered by our team. We look forward to working with you on upcoming conferences.

Conference Business Development Manager
I am part of a small but incredibly proficient team that organises and executes professional conferences for University staff and outside organisations. I think one of the most exciting aspects of conference organising is the opportunity to be a part of a team that puts together an event that disseminates new, cutting-edge research and information, as well as encourages stimulating debate. I have had opportunities to meet and work with some of the brightest minds on the planet. I have organised conferences ranging from 30-600 delegates, covering topics as diverse as the political nature of infrastructural planning, geothermal technology, language and learning, and local and international indigenous issues. In 2009 my own personal conference project was obesity – understanding what causes it, and how better to manage, prevent and treat it.

Conference Coordinator
Being a part of the conference team for the Centre for Continuing Education has added another ‘string’ to my events ‘bow’, which has previously been made up of corporate, community, sporting and live music events. I am passionate about the events world and the wealth of new experiences enjoyed every day. This includes working with scientists, engineers, primary health workers, environmentalists and educators all of whom are passionate about their fields. I have learnt more about soil-structure interaction and the analysis of a metabolome than I ever expected! I also have more than six years of business administration experience backing my determination to provide the highest quality organisational service possible to every conference I have the privilege to be a part of.

I enjoy managing such a dynamic role, being part of a professional team, and welcome the opportunity to provide accurate and immediate information and support to our clients.

Finance Operational Manager
I have been with CCE for over 20 years and have enjoyed many different roles during that time. Although I am now based in the finance area of the centre’s administration, these former positions have given me an overall knowledge and appreciation of what is involved in each of the programme areas. I have worked with several of The University of Auckland’s financial systems over the last two decades and find each new initiative in this field both challenging and rewarding. My responsibilities now include the management of CCE financial processes and applications in accordance with University policies, as well as submission of forecasting and budgetary control within the centre as a whole. I work with centre staff and find the role stimulating and always busy.
