Programme Manager – International Short Courses
I have worked in the tertiary sector since 1995, including three years as student exchange manager at The University of Auckland and five years in my current role. I manage the delivery of customised programmes for groups of visiting learners - students, academics and business professionals. The role is varied and involves working across all aspects of a programme and with a great cross-section of people within the University and across a broad range of organisations, both in New Zealand and overseas.

International Student Coordinator
A proud New Zealander, Andrew Barron has a joint appointment between IES Abroad and The University of Auckland's Centre for Continuing Education. Prior to this position, Andrew has worked for The University of Auckland in a number of roles focused around international education. That experience, plus his studies in Linguistics and English Language Teaching, have had great effect on his work. He believes in the benefits that international education brings to students’ personal and vocational development and is proud of the various opportunities that an overseas experience in New Zealand has to offer.
