We've partnered with the University's Centre for Brain Research in a half-day seminar, Brain, Music and Language . Michael Corballis and Suzanne Purdy will share their research on language handedness and the links between spoken communication and singing. There will be plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion so a fantastic chance for you to talk to the experts.

Also coming up is a three-lecture series Reading between the Lines in association with the Auckland Museum, and academic staff from the University's National Institute of Creative Arts and Industries.

There's also our regular selection of language courses and an opera seminar for those planning to attend the NBR New Zealand Opera's production of Verdi's Rigoletto.
